This is a standard Bosch connector, keep it clean and don't wash it directly.

Parking your bike in the sun in summer might not be good for it's battery.

Make sure you close the battery on bike charging port when riding.

Make sure to use the correct charger for the correct battery.

A standard 500wh Shimano battery pack

If you battery is fully charged, it is better to use it a bit before storing.

If your battery is discharged to this type of level it is better to recharge it at least halfway if storing the battery for a while.

These connectors might need cleaning or some light electrical grease applied sometimes.
